INTENSIVE SPANISH COURSE FOR PROFESSIONALS
This course focuses on the teaching processes that facilitate the mastery of specialized communication in Spanish, that is, for professionals who work in a certain sector of the labor market, as well as for university students who wish to have a career on an international level.
This course has been designed by professionals for professionals. It seeks to develop and enhance skills such as: comprehension, communication and expression.
- Understand: acquire vocabulary of the specific field in which one works. As well as understand technical texts and specialized readings.
- Communicate: maintain conversations at a professional level in a specific work environment.
- Express: knowing how to express ourselves and communicate our ideas, projects and proposals. Learn about the cultures and idiosyncrasies of Spanish-speaking countries.
The course is aimed for non-native speakers who have good communicative competence in Spanish and who wish to develop professional skills in areas such as: foreign trade, international relations, diplomacy, translation and interpretation, consulting, auditing, finance, international law, business and companies.
Undergraduate and postgraduate students in the areas mentioned above will also be able to take the course.
The duration of the course is four weeks (80 hours), it combines 50 hours of theoretical classes and 30 hours of practical classes.
Study program:
Theoretical module: 50 hours
- Legal Spanish: business law and commercial law
- Economic Spanish: foreign trade, finance and tourism
- Business Spanish: Business administration, marketing and sales
- Spanish for international relations and diplomacy: Communication and protocol, as well as preparation and presentation of reports, reports and communications
Practical module: 30 hours of practical classes
- Conversation workshops: Institutional, business visits and tourist visits.
- Institutional and business visits (Salamanca): Chambers of Commerce, ICEX Spain Export and Investment, Instituto Cervantes and Casa América.
- Tourist visits (Spain): Salamanca, Avila, Segovia and Madrid
- Institutional and business visits (Lima): DP World Logistics Perú, Association of Exporters and Chamber of Commerce of Lima
- Tourist visits (Peru): City of Lima, Callao, San Mateo, Pachacamac, Ica and Paracas
Accreditation: Students who have completed the course will receive a diploma that certifies the hours and topics taught.
